Weather was gorgeous yesterday so I spent a few minutes uncovering a few tulips shoots that are just finally poking thru the ground here in south east Wisconsin. Flowers make me happy and tulips make me smile as they are usually some of the first to arrive…ok, it’s hard to play favorites as I really haven’t met any I don’t like!?!
My Door Dash for April is the Flowering Tulips and I love every single card in the 12 card PDF!
Here’s the gig…A few of my friends and I create a “to-go” twelve card PDF class, also known as (Card Stash Door Dash Delivery) around a stamp set…then I add in a few of the products that we’ve used, select three of the 12 cards to feature in the kits, cut the cardstock and kit up the contents…then mail it out to you. Registration closes on the 20th, (a link to the PDF will be enclosed in your payment confirmation so check your SPAM folder if you didn’t get it) and all the kit contents will be shipped via USPS by the 30th…
As soon as your kit arrives, grab your Flowering Tulips stamp set or feel free to make a substitution and whip up the six cards (2 of 3 selections) in the kit. You can use the additional supplies to stamp the remaining 9 cards in the PDF or you can get creative and use them however you little heart desires! Here’s one of the cards from the Door Dash. It wasn’t selected to kit up as that’s a lot of die-cutting that I’d need to prep but it’s super cute and a fun way to use the long tulip die from the bundle. Remember, kit does NOT include the stamp set so feel free to click here to order the stamp or bundle if desired! It’s a good one!
Seriously, this class is Stinkin’ Cute and what’s even better, is that it is an online class.. so its completed in the comfort and “safety” of your own home in your pajamas if you prefer!
I hope all are staying well and encouraged during these unusual times. I’ve been dividing my time in the studio and house /yard projects. I’ve been using the nicer weather to clean out flower beds and get the garden prepped for springtime planting. In the studio I’ve been trying to come up with classes that can be done on line and in the safety of your own home. This fun folds class would have been a few of the cards, we would have stamped at some of my in-person events. I’m looking forward to the day we can meet up again!
My hat is off to our Mukwonago teachers that have risen to the challenge and instituted virtual learning. They are doing a great job and Ella has been enjoying this change of pace and so, I’m going to follow the teacher’s’ example and step out of my comfort zone and do some virtual classes. I have been doing some Facebook lives on a regular basis and hope that you would jump in and follow along.
Here is my first on-line class for April. I hope to have our spring art collage class as the next class on my schedule . I know so many were disappointed when that one had to be rescheduled. I am hoping to still have an in-person make update but will also offer a virtual option. But I digress.
Let’s get back to stinkin cute Easter cards.

I'm getting antsy for A Little Bit of Spring, stamp set and otherwise! I've had a chance to finish up March's Stamps By Mail samples and just in time for your St. Patrick's Day and Easter Stamping. And speaking of Easter…I had to make a couple of tough choices yesterday. Standing in the candy aisle at Walgreens I had to choose whether to spend the 140 calories on celery and carrot sticks or Easter Peeps. And then I had to choose whether I wanted purple or green Peeps! The choices a girl has to make!
Do you remember how the Stamps By Mail works? I design two cards using a selected stamp set and a few various tools and then I cut and prep packets of each card so that the recipient can stamp 4 of each card. So if you choose to participate in the Stamps by Mail for March, I will send you a card packet of cardstock for two different cards and you will make 4 of each set. I will email a PDF of specific stamping directions for you.
If you don't have the selected stamp set, it's available for 15% off with the purchase of the coordinating Stamps By Mail packet. Cardstock packets are only $13.50 for 8 cards with envelopes. It's a SERIOUS steal!
Did you get lobster from your Valentine last night? The only lobster on my plate is the Lobste,r on this card, from the By The Tide stamp set. "My Valentine" is notorious for under-celebrating occasions so my expectations are set pretty low. hehehe :) "My Valentine date" was spent with a little someone whose been under the weather and wishing we were sitting By The Tide someplace a lot warmer. We grilled burgers and then Rob and Denver went to the Mukwonago Girls Basketball game while Ella and I hung out. Pretty low key….Adria did have a date but I'm pretty sure lobster WASN'T on the menu.
One of my favorite sets in the Spring Catalog
So, I'm really happy with my little By The Tide lobster. He's quite lovely in my opinion and I did manage to spend a little time in my studio alone yesterday, which can be a gift, in and of itself.
Card #1 for Feb Stamps By Mail
I was asked to consider By The Tide as one of my Stamps By Mail sets and so by request, here it is! Here's how it works. I design two cards using a limited amount of supplies and then prepare "kits" for my customers to either pick up or have them mailed. I prep the kits to include cardstock, precut and scored, to create 8 cards (4 of each design) and includes envelopes and directions. You can choose to purchase the stamp set (at a 15% discount during the kit month) and also make sure you check the supplies to make sure you have all the pads etc you need.
Glitter and paper shards are floating on the gentle breezes wafting thru the studio these days. On the days that I'm creating here in the studio, it's hard to image that it's March and I've got the windows and the doors open enjoying the serenity that is my chaos here on the farm. Squawking chickens, buzzing bees and whining children aside. I have managed to squeak some time out in the garden and flower beds and I do feel bad for those of you that are stuck in a "real" 9-5 indoor job. These are the days that I LOVE my job, if you can even call it that.
So what to share with you faithful readers today? Hmmm, how about a sample from my " Big Top Birthday DSP kits". The paper or more accurately the coordinating set, Under the Big Top, pretty much describes the life here on the farm/stamp studio. Most days I'm managing a three ring circus and just like the circus, the dull roar is lots of fun but comes along with loads of elephant and horse manur….ok, never mind the stinky part of the job. Just suffice it to say, it's good for my flowerbeds.
So here's one of my favorite samples from this kit.
Those of us that have Circus photos to scrapbook or any number of kids birthdays to stamp for….you HAVE to have this fun and festive paper and kit. DOn't forget the kit comes with a 15% coupon for the coordinating stamp set, Under the Big Top. Remember, this kit is MAILABLE!
