One of my all time-favorite classes is my monthly Scrapbooking classes. I hold these in my studio and what we do is create 4 pages. During the month, I create 4 pages on a variety of themes and topics. I create the page kits and during the evening, attendees relax and stamp the images needed for the pages. My peeps can chose to adhere the layout permanently or allow for some variety and chose not to completely put together the entire kit until they are ready to add their actual photos. Here’s the 3rd Page from the September Class.
I have Four Kits Remaining.

We usually have some allowance for customization. For instance, we are doing a camping page and you HATE camping. We can swap out the camping images or paper for something YOU do love. Think about attending…It’s a fabulous way to get some cute pages done! (Those that attend the class do not need to bring photos)
Here’s a look at this month’s CAMPING pages.
I have Four kits available. Get them before they are gone! (Other pages are Birthday and First Day of School)

Good Morning! Looks to be a gorgeous day here in the neighborhood. Ella and Adria have soccer games and Denver's looking to do a little fishing today to add to the fish filet stash. I think we are planning on having a bluegill fish fry after Adria's graduation tomorrow, because isn't that what everyone does after a big event? Welcome to Redneck-ville…
I hope to get into the garden this morning yet and work a little on the weeds. I may run out to the garden store to pick up a few hanging baskets. I haven't done any shopping or flower planting this year yet and I'm missing the color. Before I tackle my to-do list, I wanted to share a quick photo of one of MY favorite layouts from Layout class this past month. Our next class is June 18th and I hope you will join us!

This is a really fun "star" stamp set. I've used it for patriotic scrapbook layouts, birthdays and graduations. It's a multi-use stamp set and with this new Stampin' Up! catalog, a great deal. You can purchase the stamp set individually or along with the coordinating framelits at a 15% discount. Woot, Woot. It's a good as apple pie and baseball…
Puchase the supplies here.
I do have additional layouts from the class available for purchase as well! Contact me for more information.

Ode to Dad Scrapbook Page…Today is my Dad's 67th Birthday and I wanted to share one of the pages that we scrapped this past week at my Layouts Class. These photos were shot at his 65th birthday, I think. (I resolve to be more organized about the photo editing/documentation in the future.) Usually you can gather clues from the photos that will help with the chronological dating or better yet, have the date indicator turned on, on the camera. Mine is not, as that would presume that I've read the directions for it's use. So it's back to clue gathering from the photo itself. There are 7 candles and I can draw no conclusions from that, as I'm thinking we probably just felt that 65 candles take a LOT of matches or that's all the were in the cupboard?…
So, I'm going to go with the fact that Ella's pony tails are pretty short and would stand to reason as she had given herself a haircut around that time. :) So I'm going to go with 65 here.. See who needs a camera with the date set!?!

Just in case you are wondering, my Dad IS an AMAZING FATHER. My brother and I had awesome parents and I know that Cal would agree with me…Dad was never was too busy to take us for a spin around the lake on the intertube in his FISHING boat or drop work to pull us in a sled on the snowmobile etc. He very rarely got upset with us. He was the pushover in the strict parent, soft parent routine that my folks had going. I remember him saying…"well, you have to say no to so many things, so why not let them sleep over at a friends on a school night?" Never rich or poor, we were always comfortable with just enough, so I don't remember being showered with things so much but more so, time…
Don't get me wrong, we had plenty of things! He surprised us one time with a small motorcycle and he didn't balk when we thought we needed a tetherball, he just sunk the metal pole in the BLACKTOP driveway for us. When I thought I might like a horse, he just figured out a way to pay for fencing and get water to the barn. But his generosity with his time is what stands out..Even now, he'll help with whatever projects I've got…came and dug water to our barn with his backhoe, he redid my cabinets in the office, he's building Denver a bed…etc. The list goes on and on..
He's got a pretty funny sense of humor and can talk to anyone. Growing up, we never doubted that my mom and dad were a team and were in love. So yeah, I know I have an AMAZING Father…Mother too…but her birthday is NEXT month. So Dad…Happy Birthday and many, many more. I love you, both!
