I have nary a drop of Irish genetic DNA but I identify as Irish come March…and while I love to travel and have MANY wonderful memories, one of my all time favorite trips was our horse back riding trip to Ireland many years ago. My love of all things Ireland started with my first sip of tea on Irish soil….the people, the scenery, the everything…I left a little of my heart there in Sligo.
Since I’m thinking we still won’t be traveling anytime soon, I felt I should bring a little of Ireland to Waukesha and decorated my tiered stand for St. Patricks Day
and then whipped up a fun little card to celebrate…”Cheers To You!” I used the Heart Punch Pack to make my shamrock. It pairs beautifully with the Oh So Ombre DSP from Saleabration. Don’t miss out on your chance to get this as a free item with a qualifying order! Seriously…It’s so cute!
Here’s a list of items that I’ve used to create this card and a video showing how quickly it goes together.
Because who doesn’t just love their pets?!? Even when they’ve dug up the flower beds, rolled in something stinky, brought home a trophy mouse prize, hacked up a hairball on your new carpet…and the list goes on and on, and so whether they are a much loved companion or a integral part of the family, we have just the suite for you….Playful Pets.
It’s great for scrapbooking and stamping and just plain ol’ cute…and it’s for dog people and cat handlers alike…I prefer to call them handlers instead of owner’s because we really know who’s in charge. Ask any “pet owner” with a cat asking to be fed at 4am or one with a dog that’s looking to chase squirrels…let me know how that ‘ownership’ is working for you. And, if you are a hamster, gerbil or ferret kind of pet people, we’ll need to work on that just a little bit…
I used the Playful Pets Designer Paper to make a little Diva Birthday card this past week for my Rewards Club folks. Please contact me if you are interested in details about the Rewards Club!
I used the Label Me Lovely punch to make the dog bed. Make sure you watch the video to see how that’s done.

We are having so much fun with the Framed Art Stamped Collage Samplers thingies. They make great gifts, home decor and just plain old fun. We are doing them almost monthly basis and the next collage is on Monday, March 16th. We are doing the Easter Blessings class. I'm hoping the weather will be a bit more Springy as well.
Here's the collage from St. Patrick's Day and I couldn't stop designing squares, so the ladies had to pick 9 of out the 16 squares provided. I'm a little sadistic that way…making them decide. Haha…you can head over to my facebook page to see some of the other squares that some picked in their frames.
Several of you have asked about the beer stein. Here's a quick video showing you how to put it together…
Make sure you sign up for class. Click the calendar to access all the upcoming classes. I've got a full calendar!
I saw the CUTEST card today on a friends blog and I was inspired to use the beehive punch art to stamp something for my upcoming classes. I don't know what my problem is of late…I usually have all of my upcoming class samples posted on my wall weeks ahead of time. See, here's proof. Nada!
Usually I have 4-5 cards on EACH of these squares…three samples out of 23. Not good odds. I had better take the rest of the day off and stamp, right?
I have my Spring Catalog Embellishment class coming up on March 11th and 12th and I can't decide if I want to use this card for that class or later in the March at the Coffee Cards and Biscotti. I try to throw in a Punch Art class fairly often and I haven't for a while…Hmm, which should I do?
My friend, Ann Clemmer used the bee from Collage Curios with her card and it worked well with the more elegant card that she had done…mine was more cutesy so I thought the elegant bee was a little too much..So I went ahead and found a cuter bee in the Spring Sampler set (did I mention that I got this set FREE for attending Leadership! Free stamps, who can beat that!)
Now, this card is WAY more intricate and busier than my usual style but it's good to get out of our comfort zone on occasion, right?
Leave me a comment and tell me which class I should use it in, the Spring Embellishments class or the Coffee Cards and Biscotti class and I will make a note to check on my OWN hives on the very next nice day. I hope my bees have over-wintered well. I'm worried…should have checked on them last month already…eeeks.
