Weather was gorgeous yesterday so I spent a few minutes uncovering a few tulips shoots that are just finally poking thru the ground here in south east Wisconsin. Flowers make me happy and tulips make me smile as they are usually some of the first to arrive…ok, it’s hard to play favorites as I really haven’t met any I don’t like!?!
My Door Dash for April is the Flowering Tulips and I love every single card in the 12 card PDF!
Here’s the gig…A few of my friends and I create a “to-go” twelve card PDF class, also known as (Card Stash Door Dash Delivery) around a stamp set…then I add in a few of the products that we’ve used, select three of the 12 cards to feature in the kits, cut the cardstock and kit up the contents…then mail it out to you. Registration closes on the 20th, (a link to the PDF will be enclosed in your payment confirmation so check your SPAM folder if you didn’t get it) and all the kit contents will be shipped via USPS by the 30th…
As soon as your kit arrives, grab your Flowering Tulips stamp set or feel free to make a substitution and whip up the six cards (2 of 3 selections) in the kit. You can use the additional supplies to stamp the remaining 9 cards in the PDF or you can get creative and use them however you little heart desires! Here’s one of the cards from the Door Dash. It wasn’t selected to kit up as that’s a lot of die-cutting that I’d need to prep but it’s super cute and a fun way to use the long tulip die from the bundle. Remember, kit does NOT include the stamp set so feel free to click here to order the stamp or bundle if desired! It’s a good one!
I’m so glad there’s Valentines Day to brighten the wintery cold of January and Feb. I mean who wouldn’t want to celebrate Kisses and Chocolate?. What’s not to like, unless perhaps you’re germaphobic or mindful of Covid-necessary social distancing..and in that case stick with the cards and chocolate. And if you’re diabetic…go with the kisses and the cards?
You will have to find your own kisses and chocolate but I do have the cards covered for you! Order January’s Card Stash Door Dash, you’ll have plenty of time to get them stamped and in the mail to those special peeps in your life. You can seal it with a kiss should you wish too. That’s up to you!
Here’s the link for more information about January’s Dash and don’t forget, registration closes on Jan 20th. I need time to get these kits prepped and in the mail to you. Card Stash Door Dash is a kit service I do on a monthly basis and it DOES NOT include the stamp set. (It’s an SU thing because I host the button for purchase on my website but more importantly many of my kits are sold to fellow stampers and demos that may already have the stamp set.)
Now one of the biggest questions I get is…Do I need to have the stamp set? Ok…need? Or want? Probably the more important qualification….for many of the monthly CSDDDS, I would say you wouldn’t necessarily “Need” it as I’ve demonstrated in this Facebook Live video. I used one of the Door Dash cards from this month and paired it with last years stamp set and 3rd card with just the heart punches…But want the stamp set? Now that’s more the question…the featured stamp set does make it easier. For a couple more bucks, you have a new stamp set, it’s cute, easy and the kit is complete! Like chocolate, new stamps make you happy, unlike chocolate, it doesn’t have calories!
Did you set a New Year’s Resolution this year? I’ve learned to set “intentions” in lieu of a resolution, simply because I’m not always so good with the resolve. Life has a way of getting in the way…But one of my “intentions” for 2022 is to STOP HOARDING DESIGNER PAPER and USE IT UP! Live Life and use the paper!
Of course, this New Horizons DSP is a paper that truly is a test to my HOARDING tendencies. Nothing like facing a challenge at the outset. It’s absolutely gorgeous and sends shivers up my spine to think I might run out “someday”…so here’s what my compromise was for this card…use only a schnibble of paper. ok, it’s not exactly in the “spirit of use it up” but lets talk reality…baby steps…I used only a 3” x 3” piece of designer paper for this sweet and simple card.
Grassy Grove is a lovely stamp set that pairs well with this New Horizons paper. One of the perks of reaching the Million Dollar Milestone is collaboration on a stamp set. This could very well have been “my set”. My guys are serious outdoors/nature kind of guys and this sweet doe and fawn are perfect for birthday card for anyone of them. So I’ve got a stamp set here that I love and I still get to help design another one. Hot Dog!
If you have outdoorsy types in your family, this will be the ideal set to add to your collection…and don’t forget to add a pack of the New Horizons Designer Paper…or 2.
If you’d like a quick recap of the card and more inspiration with the New Horizons DSP, this is the replay of the Facebook Live I did for Coffee Klatsch on 1/10
I love when I can use my Designer Series Paper for a multitude of projects. This is the Peaceful Prints DSP and it’s free with a $50 BUT ONLY THRU TOMORROW, Sept 30th! I think I may almost love the paper more than coffee!?! This stamp set was a perfect choice for National Coffee Day. Who know that today was National Coffee Day…of course, I celebrate coffee everyday. It is my beverage of choice in the morning…I will switch to Ice Tea or Water once my pot is gone. But I do LOVE a good cup of coffee and it’s such a stinkin’ cute card when I can use my coffee set with my super fun DSP!
I think I may want to use this card in one of my upcoming Card and Coffee Buffets…but do you like version A or version B? Decisions must be made…like do you like light roast or dark roast, cream or black, sugar or no? My preference is a good dark roast with a healthy splash of cream, NO SUGAR….bleech…and if I’m looking for a frou-frou coffee…then it’s a White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks…with half the pumps of chocolate it normally comes with….I do like my coffee…and Peppermint over Pumpkin any day!We made this card in Coffee Klatsch today…here’s the link if you want to watch how it’s put together… Join us M,W,Th,F at 9:00 am CT on my FB page – stinkincutecards for your daily dose of Cards and Chaos.
I have nary a drop of Irish genetic DNA but I identify as Irish come March…and while I love to travel and have MANY wonderful memories, one of my all time favorite trips was our horse back riding trip to Ireland many years ago. My love of all things Ireland started with my first sip of tea on Irish soil….the people, the scenery, the everything…I left a little of my heart there in Sligo.
Since I’m thinking we still won’t be traveling anytime soon, I felt I should bring a little of Ireland to Waukesha and decorated my tiered stand for St. Patricks Day
and then whipped up a fun little card to celebrate…”Cheers To You!” I used the Heart Punch Pack to make my shamrock. It pairs beautifully with the Oh So Ombre DSP from Saleabration. Don’t miss out on your chance to get this as a free item with a qualifying order! Seriously…It’s so cute!
Here’s a list of items that I’ve used to create this card and a video showing how quickly it goes together.
Because who doesn’t just love their pets?!? Even when they’ve dug up the flower beds, rolled in something stinky, brought home a trophy mouse prize, hacked up a hairball on your new carpet…and the list goes on and on, and so whether they are a much loved companion or a integral part of the family, we have just the suite for you….Playful Pets.
It’s great for scrapbooking and stamping and just plain ol’ cute…and it’s for dog people and cat handlers alike…I prefer to call them handlers instead of owner’s because we really know who’s in charge. Ask any “pet owner” with a cat asking to be fed at 4am or one with a dog that’s looking to chase squirrels…let me know how that ‘ownership’ is working for you. And, if you are a hamster, gerbil or ferret kind of pet people, we’ll need to work on that just a little bit…
I used the Playful Pets Designer Paper to make a little Diva Birthday card this past week for my Rewards Club folks. Please contact me if you are interested in details about the Rewards Club!
I used the Label Me Lovely punch to make the dog bed. Make sure you watch the video to see how that’s done.
