Welcome Easter Fun Fold Online Class

Seriously, this class is Stinkin’ Cute and what’s even better, is that it is an online class.. so its completed in the comfort and “safety” of your own home in your pajamas if you prefer!

I hope all are staying well and encouraged during these unusual times.  I’ve been dividing my time in the studio and house /yard projects. I’ve been using the nicer weather to clean out flower beds and get the garden prepped for springtime planting. In the studio I’ve been trying to come up with classes that can be done on line and in the safety of your own home. This fun folds class would have been a few of the cards, we would have stamped at some of my in-person events.  I’m looking forward to the day we can meet up again!

My hat is off to our Mukwonago teachers that have risen to the challenge and instituted virtual learning. They are doing a great job and Ella has been enjoying this change of pace and so, I’m going to follow the teacher’s’ example and step out of my comfort zone and do some virtual classes.  I have been doing some Facebook lives on a regular basis and hope that you would jump in and follow along.

Here is my first on-line class for April.  I hope to have our spring art collage class as the next class on my schedule . I know so many were disappointed when that one had to be rescheduled. I am hoping to still have an in-person make update but will also offer a virtual option. But I digress.

Lovely Lily Pad

As I mentioned yesterday, Ol Man Winter isn’t relinquishing his hold, in fact, it seems like he’s just getting wound up for Round 2.  It’s yucky out there and tranquil lily pad covered lagoons seem like a far fetched dream!  I’m going to turn up the pellet stove and put on some slack key guitar music and pretend that I can’t see the white howling and blowing stuff.  I’d try to further the illusion with a Big Ol’ BLT or Caprese salad but my powers of imagination aren’t strong enough to make that mealy store bought tomato seem to be a chin dripping sandwich of lusciousness.  Alas…spring is coming and I’ll just enjoy the time in my Happy Place.  This was one of the cards that we did for Take Three Class in January.  Remember class is open to all both local and online and is free with a $25 order (ask me about Rewards Club benefits!)  Click the video for the How to!

Xmas Giftables Class

Hard to imagine that the calendar just flipped over into December but time marches on and waits for no one.  And speaking of time marching on, today is Rob’s Birthday and we celebrated his day with my family yesterday and will be entertaining his parents tonight.   The funny thing about Rob, (ok one of the MANY funny things about Rob…) is that he LOVES store bought cake.  Mom or I used to slave over a lovely home made cake of some fun variety, Red Velvet, Carrot, German Chocolate and come to find out…he prefers store bought.  He says he likes the frosting.  I think it’s cuz it just turns everyone’s teeth blue and he likes to laugh at us.  I made sure this one had LOTS of frosting…I’m nice that way.

So that’s today and coming up later in the week.  Thursday to be exact is my Giftables class.  We are making a bunch of gift wrapping and gifting ideas for the holidays.  This is one of the many projects you will be making on Thursday should you decide to come.  It’s going to be AWESOME!  Register Here.
