Ah…..Quiet Reflections?  I could definitely use them since it’s not too often there is peace and quiet around here but did have a hot minute to work with my Million Dollar stamp set, Quiet Reflections.  I’m so excited to share the set with you in the next couple of days.  It will be released in the January to April 2024 Mini Catalog.  It will be on pg 63 if you’re wondering!  This has been the fulfillment of a 25 year goal.  As an SU demo, one of the fun perks is that you get to help design a stamp set when you reach 1 Million in sales and I had been dreaming  and working towards it for many years.  I had decided that I wanted “nature-y” since my family are outdoorsy and fishing & hunting are favorite pastimes for quite a few of them and their acquaintances here…so I was thinking that since we often have a lot of “feminine” stamp sets with flowers etc and have been a little weaker on “masculine” nature sets, I was thinking of leaning toward that…but SU released the Grassy Grove, Gone Fishing and Wildlife Wonder recently so that box had been ticked.  Then I was thinking Ducks…and had considered collaborating on a Duck Stamp set…(it was the Feathered Flight idea board)  and then panicked because I was worried that I might have to color in front a bunch of demos at our Convention etc…I’m at a kindergarten level watercolorist/blends user and so I nixed that one immediately.

So then I went on to Plan C – I wanted a Sympathy stamp set that didn’t JUST have sayings for the outside.(thinking of you, my/our sympathies)..but a coordinating verse for the INSIDE.  (My late friend Cheryl always preached that the insides couldn’t be naked so the inside sayings are a nod to her memory!  I know she would have loved the set and would have made A-Mazing cards!  Sure do miss her and as one of the sayings in the set says…”to remember is to give life to those we’ve loved and lost”…to Cheryl)  but I digress… I wanted a stamp set that had both religious and secular sayings for the inside AND if I could have a serious pet sympathy that would be awesome too!  Most of the pet sympathy sets have been cutesy and I wanted one that would recognize the significance of losing a pet that’s part of the family..and with those qualifications/wishes, Julie, the designer I worked with at corporate sketched and tweaked our Quiet Refection stamp set.  I love it…it’s a great sympathy stamp set with some gorgeous bonus images thrown in as a perk.  Again, the message is the focal point and the images are just the frosting.  I hope you love it too.  I’m hoping to do a fun class to kick off the Quiet Reflection set.  Stay tuned for more details.

I’ve been going thru my cabinet looking for woodsy masculine Designer Paper to use with this set…today, I’ve used the Online Exclusive paper.  Add some to your stash while you can!
