By the Bay Sale-a-bration Option

Glancing quickly (ok, quickly is somewhat subjective) at Facebook today, it seems like a majority of my friends and family are by some sort of Bay…in a warm and exotic climate, of course.  Spring Break is a little dull when you aren’t the one on break and the closest to a Bay, I’m getting this week, is when we drive past BAYVIEW on our way to IKEA today…Hopefully.

I’ve been promising Ella that we would shop for a new desk if she would get her room picked up.  So far we are in Day 6 and the chances of “clean badge” are sitting at about 50:50.  I will NOT purchase that desk to have it sit around waiting for someone to get off her little tushy to clean.  And let it be known, the New Desk/IKEA ship will be sailing out of the bay today as it’s the last day I can make that trek down.  I’ve got to start cutting cardstock for class on Friday and Saturday so I’m rounding up all forms of electronic distractions as to make my IKEA trip a little more probable because I love IKEA.  It’s so pretty and organized….everything I desire in life and currently am not achieving.  One might wonder if the apple didn’t fall very far from the tree….but let it be known, as well, that MY desk that my dear friend Tracy organized a couple of weeks ago…it’s been tidy for exactly 13 days.  You should be so proud of me!  I had the corner shelves on the list for spring break too but the odds of that are about 50:50 too.  What’s next on YOUR list to Marie Kondo?

This is my sweet little card that we stamped this week in class.  I’ve used the By The Bay stamp set.  It’s a set that is FREE with a qualifying $50 order here during Sale-a-bration but remember, SAB ends on March 31st.  It’s such a sweet set….

One of the tips that I did with this card was to take an empty Wink of Stella brush.   (DON’T THROW THEM AWAY!  They make great Aqua Painters!) and filled it with water and added 8 drops of Balmy Blue re-inker.  This gave me a paintbrush to watercolor the background sky and sea.  I think I’ll demonstrate this on Friday’s Facebook Live.  Join me at 1pm for Friday’s Facebook Live….I have class at my usual time so I need to switch it up a tad!
