Most likely you've take down your Christmas decorations by now? So the burning questions is, "do you decorate for Valentine's Day?" I usually leave my "winter" garland up until about St. Patty's, just to add a little greenery around the porch and decorate with snowflakes, so Valentine's day is usually glossed over. This year it seems, I have more "snowflakes" inside than out. We got our first real snow this week, just in time for Camp. We have an attendee that's coming from Miami and we were disappointed that we couldn't thrill her with a typical Wisconsin winter and since we aim to please, someone with a little more pull than I have, arranged for a beautiful snowfall this week. It's gorgeous. Kids are off from school today for an inservice day so I'm hoping they will take advantage of it and do a little sledding.
I may not "decorate" that much for Valentines but I do have an adorable Layout from a previous class to share with you today. It's done using the Smitten Mitten from the Holiday catalog. I know we tend to think that once Dec 25th rolls around we need to pack away the Christmas stamps with the Christmas decorations…NOT so! If you didn't order this set or bundle, feel free to contact me and I can see if I can get you in touch with one. :) Happy stamping today…and mark your calendars for the next Layout class on Jan 25th.
I will be using these photos on this layout
and while it was originally designed with two landscape photos, I've built in flexibility into the class and layouts and each layout can be adapted to fit your photos. I will either change both to portrait or print the closer of the two as 5×7 and crop it to fit one of my landscape photo mats.
Many of my scrappers complete the layouts with repositionable adhesive and tweak it to fit their needs once the photos are printed and they have time to "scrap." I encourage you to give this class a try as many of peeps have rave reviews of the speed and versitility of the class. If getting your photos off your phone and into a book was one of your resolutions this year..it's a great way to get a good start on it. Think about it. 11 months x 4 pages a month = 44 pages by next December. That's a book!
