it's a sad reality of life that sympathy cards are a necessity. I had a couple of ladies, the other day, ask specifically for Sympathy Cards in class and while I prefer to stamp Happy Cards in my Happy Place, it's probably good to have a few "Thinking of You" cards on hand as somehow it's hard to be in the "mood" to make one when needed. We made this card in class last month and I'm going to just point out the elephant in the room here and use it as "learning experience". See the sloppy embossing down in the lower left corner…over there by the "M"?
Don't do what I did…I forgot to use the Embossing Buddy prior to inking up the card. DOOOH…If you want nice clean crisp heat Embossing…the Embossing Buddy is the Boss! All you have to do is rub it over the cardstock and it magically reduces the static cling. Ink, dump your powder on, dump it off and give it a sharp flick from the back, and heat. Voila..perfectly crisp embossing.
