We, here in WI, are huge Harley-Davidson fans and rightfully so. The company has been around a long time and many friends and acquaintances either have worked at the company or local dealerships and many more own a Harley or two. If I had to pick one company that Wisconsinites that would identify with, it would be Harley. Ok, many would probably say Miller, but I'm not going there. :) The stereotypical Wisconsinite is a little rough around the edges, hardworking, kinda loud in a fun way, and just looking to kick back and relax…sorta like the bike itself. Make Note..I'm not saying we are the renegade image of the bikers, I just might add.. but the weekend – out with the guys kinda people. So when Stampin Up! came out with One Wild Ride stamp set, I'm pretty sure we, here in WI, bought every available stamp set on the very first day. It's an awesome set and we used it at my Bingo Night a couple of weeks ago.
I love how it goes so well with the Silver Foil! I used a punch with a post-it note to create a circle mask and used the Delightful Dijon and a stamping sponge to create the Sunset. I also used the saying from the Wild About Flowers for the inside, (something in the name? Wild?") that says "Congratulations on your Retirement. You've earned it!" As many of my acquaintances are retiring and have gotten bikes in their 40's & 50's, I'm imagining a new way of life for these folks and the freedom to Ride to Wherever the Road Leads them…
