Ok, maybe not exactly a graduation in Morocco but a Wisconsin Graduation with Moroccan Designer Paper?  We are in the middle of graduation season here in WI.

In Wisconsin we have a dumb state law that says that the kids can't go back to school until after Labor Day without some kind of special exemption.  I think it's some Board of Education and Board of Tourism collaboration?  And while I love having the entire month of August off, it does make for VERY late start to summer vacation and I psychologically panic.  In my mind, July 4th is the Middle of summer, right? And if the kids don't start vacation until the middle of June, summer is almost OVER!   I sub-consciously stress a little thinking we've got a lot of fun to have, chores to accomplish and places to go and we are almost at the middle of summer with July 4th being just two short weeks away.  It's really not…but it sure seems like it.  And while the rest of the nation is moving forward into the middle of summer, we are stuck in school, having graduations and still dreaming of lazy summer days.  And I'm fairly certain that those poor teachers who are stuck with our kids would very much like to give them back to us.  I'm pretty sure the concentration factor at this point in the year is negligible.

So yes, we have had graduations on the mind.  This was a quick little card that I made for a friend's son who is having a party in a couple of weeks.  I think it's pretty gender neutral and will work fine.  At that age, they aren't so interested in the card anyway, but more about what's on the inside…the heartfelt message and loving signature, right?
