This page has been in the works for years…literally…and figuratively.  What a great way to document the yearly changes on one page…so figuratively, it's been 13 years of work.

As for the literal length..as you well know, I've been putting kits together from past Layout classes and this was one from Aug 2014.   It has got to be one of my all time favorite pages and in fact, I made 3 of them, one for each of the kids.  Now Ella's, will probably have hope for actually being finished.  As a 3rd grader, I can probably find all those old "trading" size photos.  Denver and Adria..well that's another story.  I've actually contacted friends and family looking for the missing grades.

My intent wasto be organized and throw out the extras of the trading size, just keeping the larger photos as that would be the size I would scrapbook someday.  My lesson is don't throw ANYTHING out!  You might need them someday.  Actually, I'm ahead of the game as I hope to use this on the photo board at Denver's graduation next year…so I've got a little time yet.

I dug really deep into my stamp set archives and pulled out two of my old favorites, It's Academic from 20015 and Just Journaling from like the 1800's.  Actually it was one of the first sets I purchased when I was a new scrapper/stamper.  Loved the versatility of it and I liked the way it made my apple look like that old paper from school.  The apple is simply three hearts with the bottom tips rounded off.  The "day" is actually from the Birthday Decorative Sizzlet.  I also used various quikcutz to create the school and the s after Day.

Hard to believe my middle baby is a junior.  Where does the time go.  We have created over 100 pages in this layout class and I would encourage anyone to join us for this class.  It's a lot of fun!  Most pages are adaptable to fit your photos.
