Today is really the last "quiet" day before it all gets a little crazy around here. I've got teacher gifts to finish up tonight and to figure out what to do about Ms. Ella's Birthday Party. After all, she's turning 9 and has yet to have a classmate birthday party. We (read "I") keep pushing it off. It's one of the drawbacks of a December birthday…poor girl.
And then after tomorrow, all the nestlings will be back in the nest for a few days. I love that but yet my productivity is negatively impacted. I did manage to carve a few minutes today to get a few things checked off the list and I rewarded myself with a little play time.
