I needed something a little cute to cheer myself up today. I managed to haul all of my unfinished paper project bins out of my cupboards this weekend and now I've got a BIG mess to put back. It's a little overwhelming. It's either that or this dumb daylight savings time, coupled with the waning sunlight hours. Stressed…who me? Just a little big mess! And I think it will have to wait until later in the week to be cleaned up! The weather is supposed to be downright gorgeous this week, especially for fall here in Wisconsin. We are talking the 60's and sunny. I've got quite a bit of outside work to wrap up yet. Deck furniture, a few more garden posts to take down, the bee yard to clean up so unfortunately I'm thinking I'll be out of the office for a while this week and away from the stamping desk.
I had hoped to get my stampin' fix this weekend when I designed my wreath for the November wreath class on Tuesday, but I've had a couple of things pop up and I just couldn't juggle it all so I needed to cancel my November wreath class. I think I've only canceled two classes in my 17 years as a demo and both have been in the last month. What is up with that!?
Do you think I'll be crabby by the weekend if I can't find a little time to craft this week? Good thing I've got Hostess Club as I'll need to create some fabulous samples for that. So here's my card. This started out as a Make and Take from Convention….2011. Yes, there are a lot of unfinished projects in those bins and yes, I'm not always very good about doing my Make and Takes at convention during the allotted time. I find myself talking to my friends. Yes, it is hard to believe….but anyway…the stamp set from convention is long gone so I substituted the Penguin from Snow Place. Isn't it cute? The ribbon is retired but I think I'm going to find something in my drawer to swap and use it for a class sample! It's just so adorable and totally Non-Christmas. Love when a set is dual-purpose.
All for now. I better get #3 into bed along with myself. I need a quick nap before work tonight. Happy dreams!
