Last day of school today and I've got an adorable gap card that I whipped up this morning for the teachers. And yes, both copies flew out the door before I had a chance to snap a photo. We were running behind a tad this morning. So I'll need to recreate it for you this afternoon and share it tomorrow…and yes, I did go with Plan B and the jars of honey. Ella said it was a "dumb" gift, but hey, I told her it's a gift and if she wanted something different she should have said so and should have helped make it possible. 🙂
I needed to take a few minutes to find my Zen/Happy Place this morning and create a battle plan for this upcoming week/weekend. I usually have a little difficulty transitioning into summer as I am so easily distracted when I'm in the office. I find that I function best with a schedule and minimal interruptions. Any parent, with kids home during the summer, can attest that as farfetched as rainbow unicorns. So I will figure out the new juggling act for the summer months and as any kid can tell you, summer whizzes by in a matter of minutes…and I will shortly be back to my usually fall, winter and spring schedule. Ironically, I do SOO love summer and I think the dilemma is that there just isn't enough of it! :) So here's to summer, may there be lots of it…
