There is always something for which to be thankful for, no matter the grayness of the day. Today is no exception. Best laid plans gone awry? Adria's soccer game was canceled yesterday due to cold temperatures (hello! It's a spring sport in WI, we know how to dress for the weather!) and little Ms. Ella had a stomach bug. She turned down Noodles & Co. on Friday night and then spent the overnight hours "sick". She ran a temperature all Saturday and even today, on this gloomy blustery day, turned down church, her best friend's birthday party at Sky Zone and Cheesy Potatoes at lunch. She's still under the weather….but if we are looking for a silver lining? I had the chance to spend THE entire day catching up on laundry. I don't want to see the electric bill when you've ran a washer and dryer for 12 straight hours but hey, I did make a dent in the mound of stinky dirty soccer and work clothes and I am THANKFUL!
I had my layouts class on Thursday night and here is one of the layouts that the ladies worked on.
This paper is FUN! I used several packs of it up at the beginning of Sale-ab-ration and then I found the "Irresistibly yours" paper and I forgot about it! i'm so glad to have pulled it out and used it on this layout.
Note: Scallopy Blushing Bride piece on the right hand side. I simply used the Top Note and cut it in half vertically. I used one side up and down and the other half horizontal. Gives the illusion of a really big scalloped piece of paper. I'm useful, that way. Love the layout, love the kid in the layout! '
Off to head out to Starbucks for a graduation picnic discussion with several other mom's of graduates in the area. We usually have a big joint celebration for the kids. Makes it easy, so I'm told. This is my first….sigh.
Don't forget you can only get this paper thru March 31st and then it's GONE! And better yet, it's FREE with a qualifying order of $50.00 Head over to my website to place YOUR order!
