I hope everyone's Holiday weekend was as delightful as ours was. We traveled north for our annual 4th of July Friends/Family Picnic at my aunt's house and then went further north and spent the day with some soccer friends and finished up the weekend back with my mom's family again. It was simply delightful.
I made this card to send to a dear friend of mine. When we stopped at their home on our way out of town to pick up their son as entertainment for Denver, I jokingly said, "if we are in a horrific accident, please promise to run to my house and clean my kitchen". (We were having company arriving Sunday night, not long after we were to be returning home and since I worked the night before leaving and someone was chomping at the bit to GET going, I had left it in a pretty bad state) I got the most delightful text on Saturday night, telling me not to get in a crash but certainly, NOT worry about the kitchen. Some friends are so special that they will head over to clean AND bring homemade bread even while sick. I cannot begin to tell you how very very blessed I am in so many parts of my life….
Here's the card I used in today's Punches and Punch Art class and it's going to be sent immediately after class on Tuesday night.
