I'm so glad that I had hostess club tonight as it snapped me out of a little funk that I was having.  I spent the morning help Ms. Cheryl set up for the Milwaukee Rubber Stamp Show, being held this weekend at the Washington County Fair Park.  We have a booth at the expo and I, due to hospital-work conflicts can't be there.  Well, at least not if I plan on going to the Stampin' Up! convention next week.  So I had to make a choice and Cheryl assured me that she and several of our downlines would welcome the opportunity to work the show and develop their businesses…but that was what I was feeling a little blue about. 

I think I was experiencing in a small measure what an empty-nester feels.  Three-quarters delight for knowing your "kids" have developed wings and are achieving great and wonderful things and one quarter unhappiness because you just KNOW they are having all kinds of fun without you!  Right?  Ok, ok, yes, I will desperately miss Adria next year but part of me is going to be a bit miserable as I know she's having a blast without ME!  As will Cheryl, Lynn and Judy tomorrow….without ME!  I'm going to be sad.  I want to be there meeting all you and showing you all the cool new things in this catalog.  I adore the expos and it's so fun!!  And I'm going to miss it…heavy sigh. Pity party stops here!
