Just two more Manic Mornings before the lazy days of summer begin. My kids are dreaming of sleeping in til noon, I'm sure, but alas, their father has found them a lawn maintainace gig and they will need to be up with the birds during the cooler a.m. hours. We don't have much planned this summer, vacation-wise. Probably will do some day trips or an impromtu get-away. We do have several weeks blocked off for family coming in from out of town and Ella asked that we put together another Summer Bucket List, as it was a huge hit last year.
I will continue my normal class schedule through the summer months and I've got to rework my "play, garden and office" hours here to maximize the weather, comfort and productivity. I did manage to work in some creative time for the masculine cards that we did this week. I think they turned out pretty well. Here's one of the cards that we did.
Stamps: Serene Silhouettes, Bravo
- Inks: Mossy Meadow, Baked Brown Sugar
- CS: Lullaby, Baked Brown Sugar, Mossy Meadow
- Misc: Retired Vintage Brads
It's a very simple card with an easy layout. Great for Father's Day, Graduation or retirement cards. Serene Silhouettes is one of my go-to favorite all-round sets.
