How about a quick little card with Punch Art for Father's Day….This was one of the cards from my Y Chromosome class this past week. I'm going to make it short today as it's the kids' last day of school, I need to get this card in the mail to MY father and I need to get working on my things for tomorrow's catalog kick off. It's going to be a coffee-fueled day. 🙂
- Stamps: Really Great Greetings
- Inks: Cherry Cobbler
- CS: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Retired Designer Paper, Bolds paper stack.
- Misc: Arrows EF, Fringe Scissors, 1" Circle Punch, Stripes EF, Polka Dots EF, Fishing Line
Note to self: before sending this card, redo the golf ball and flip it over…golf balls have dimples not dots!
To make the bobber…
Use a circle punch of choice and punch a half circle from a piece of red cardstock
Retain the piece you punched the half circle from and move the punch up slightly and punch again.
Layer the punched out piece on a full vanilla or white circle. I just used a piece of red scrap to make the bobber top (where the fishing line is attached on a real bobber)…
Don't forget to check the calendar for upcoming classes. I have lots on the schedule. Escape the heat, the summer doldrums, the overwhelming household chores and come to your happy place!
