Weather-wise, organization or health-wise? Take your pick! I had hoped to spend a little time in the raspberry patch today but we've enjoyed at all-day rain. So I guess the choice was to clean and cook in preparation for tomorrow night's team dinner OR spend the day working, ahem, playing in the office. I'm not going to tell you what I choose to do, but suffice it to say that I designed three more cards for upcoming classes. So while I love the rain, it better get better for the last couple of soccer games and give me time to at least TRY to combat the weeds.
I did need a couple of Get Better cards so I dug through the bin of pre-cut cards to make up a couple. One of my many idiosyncrasies is that once the cardstock is cut and packaged for a class, I find it really difficult to put it back into the scrap drawer. Often they get modified into "new cards". This was the card that we did last month for the Last Chance Class – all of the stamps used were retiring.
I pulled out Summer Silhouette last night and changed the layout to be this Better Get Better card.
Completely different look. I found that I liked the odd color combination too. I used Wild Wasabi, Crisp Cantaloupe and Cajun Craze. Which one is your favorite? Summer Silhouette is still available in our new Stampin' Up! catalog. Check it out here.
All for today. Have to move on to the next project.
