I keep telling myself that I'm so happy to be home and I don't miss the wonderful chilled soups, fabulous meals, time to read and relax with all my stamping friends, all while someone else is clearing the table, making the meals and cleaning the stateroom. I really did have a wonderful week and I AM glad to be home, to some degree. Let's just say there's certainly "job security" around here as wife, mother, and keeper of the home. Eeeps. :)
I'm back to stressing to some degree as LOTS of weeds sprouted while I was gone and all this rain has kept us from planting a thing in our garden or even weeding!. I've got about 2000 onions that need to go in and we haven't even rototilled yet. But I've got a base tan going? Looking for silver linings, right?
I had my "Last Chance" class this past week and I will be honest with you that when I stepped off the plane on Sunday night, I didn't even have ONE card prepped or even designed! I am living walking proof that I can put together a bomb-diggity 5 card class in under 4 hours from start to finish! And I thought the cards were adorable. I did have a little help from my cruise friends as I modified two of my swaps to fit my needs. I don't think that's cheating? I'm calling it being smart and knowing when to accept a little help. 🙂
Here's one of my originals. It's actually a variation of the card that I did for my cruise swap. I'll share that later next week as I have to replace my blendabilities that I used to make my card. I gave them away to a couple of German Demonstrators that don't have access to our WONDERFUL BLENDABILITIES!!!
