Trying to settle back in after our exciting trip to New York CIty last weekend. Brought Ella to the clinic earlier this week as she had been running a fever for about 5 days and had a horrible cough. Last year at this time she had walking pneumonia so I was a little worried. Xray showed that her lungs just looked junky but no glaring pneumonia so Dr. prescribed rest and fluids. I resorted back to our old faithful herb…comfrey. Brewed her a couple of cups with our yummy honey and I don't think it was a coincidence that she went from a 101.5 fever to normal after two cups and a 24hour period?! Probably should have done that first and would have saved myself a load of money and an hour of my overworked pediatric doctor's time. Love that herb!!
Adria had her wisdom teeth extracted on Thursday and so I went from nursemaid from one to the other. I didn't win the mother of the year award as I didn't have homemade chicken soup for poor Adria. She had to make her own Campbells soup on Friday as I had my hostess club. :) I did stop by on the way home from the oral surgeon for a Shamrock Shake and had stocked up on yogurt, applesauce and Kefir and even volunteered to make her a smoothie…so I get a little credit, right?
So that's been this week. Rob's been working out of town all week and will be coming back this evening. Hooray. Haven't seen him since we left for NYC! We had NOTHING on the schedule today for any of us. This has to be a record! Now, instead of cleaning house etc we decided to play. Adria is heading over to the BodyWorks exhibit. Ella and I are heading over to Cheryl's to pick out cards for our next Camp Stamp-in-oga and then over to Mukwonago High Schools musical Lil' Abner. Denver and his friend are going the basketball game and then going to take the snowmobiles out for hopefully one last ride around the yard.

If you look closely you might see my mistake. I stamped the saying last and ended up getting that annoying shadow outline thing. I used my Signo White Gel pen to "white-out" the shadow. :) All for now. Off for a little fun!
