Oh "Lovely As a Tree".  This is a classic set that has managed to withstand the pressures of time and the whims of fashion. Why?  Because it's a timeless beauty!  My set is almost as old as my middle child and I would be willing to bet that there isn't ANY other stamp set that's in both this year's catalog and in the catalog I used when I signed up to be a demonstrator in 1999.  (same year that middle child was born!)

Lovely As a Tree

This was one of the cards that we did in my Coffee, Cards and Biscotti class on Monday and Tuesday.  I had hoped to use this card for a friend that lost a very dear family member but if you look closely on the card…perhaps you will notice the corner is cut off?  My advice to you is this…if you plan on using the card at a later date, don't leave it too close to the cutter when cutting cardstock for class.  I measured the layer and set to cutting for class.   Zchooop, somehow sliced off a corner?  Go figure!

Enjoy. I suppose you could even use this for a non-traditional Christmas Card?  So that's it for today. I'm just about done with four of my five layouts for Scrapbook Layouts class tomorrow.  I didn't get my new schedule finished but I DID get my newsletter out this morning.  Are you on the list?  Enter your email address in the upper right corner if you missed out!  So now it's time to head outside and get a little work done before the arctic blast that's coming this weekend.  🙁
