Occasionally, the week seems to be, all of a sudden, overwhelmingly full. I sat down with my dayplanner today and it dawned on me that I've got three classes next week, (my Sweater Weather collage class, my Religious Christmas Cards Stamp A Stack and my scrapbooking layouts class).
Now, while that's a bit more than my usual week, that, in and of itself, isn't TOO bad. Here's the straws that made the panic set in a little. Three Classes, a weekend "on" at the hospital, 120 cards due for the Founder's Circle Swap (need to be done and in the mail by no later than Tuesday!) and I've GOT A BOOTH AT THE RUBBER STAMP EVENT coming up on Saturday and Sunday to prep for.
I do get a lot of help from my downline Cheryl Lentz and we have a blast doing these expos. I will have to say that being a slight over-acheiver does pressure me to have the best stinkin' displays ever! So where's a girl suppose to start with a to-do list like that? I think I'll start with a cup of coffee! Literally and figuratively!
So I grabbed a cup of coffee and the Perfect Blend set and cranked out another adorable display sample. Here's a cute and quick card that I did using some of our Winter Frost Paper and one of my favorite sets, The Perfect Blend.
Make sure you stop into see us at the Rubber Stamp Expo at the Wisconsin State Fair Park on Saturday, Sept 21st & Sunday, Sept 22nd.
Now several of you asked about Founder's Circle and so here's the skinny. Founder's Circle is a special trip for the Top 100 Demonstrators in the US and Canada and for the new Rising Star demonstrators. And yes, I did earn the exclusive retreat trip which is held every year in St. George Utah. And no, I unfortunately needed to decline the invitation. I had already committed earlier in the year to having a booth at this expo and can you believe that I'm giving up a trip with over 100 of my fellow demonstrators to St. George Utah? I know, it was a tough call but I felt honor-bound to be at the expo. Make me glad I made the right choice and stop by and say hi! :) I am still able to participate in the swap so that is one small light. 🙂
