Apparently today, according to the makers of Ball® Home Canning Products, is National Can-It-Forward Day. Home canning afficienados were invited to host their own home-canning parties to celebrate canning and teach friends and family the fun and joy of home canning. That sounds totally like a gig that I would love to get in on. Alas, we had six soccer games amongst three kids at three different locations and I had a party here at the studio with my hostess Jean, so no National Can-It-Forward Canning Party for me…but I did STAMP a card using the lovely and retired, Perfectly Preserved stamp set and coordinating Cannery Framelits. Does that count? Jean, my hostess requested a card using this set at her party today and since it's HER party, we do what she WANTS to.
Jean is a super sweet lady that I met awhile ago and she decided, as a last hurrah of summer, that she wanted to treat her besties to a free card class. We sent out invites and picked the cards that she wanted to make with her friends. And coincidentally, a Perfectly Preserved card on National Can-It-Forward day.
(Note: like this layout? I copied it from a layout that we will be doing at our November Camp Stamp-In-Oga. Watch for it's twin sister, designed by Miss Cheryl sometime this week!)

So that's my "canning" for today and it's not because of lack of things to CAN! I'm hoping to make some chocolate raspberry sauce and Jalepano Jam this year. But that's it for today. I've got some very tired soccer players to tend to and two tired spectating parents. Watching is hard work, you know!
And for you….I have an entire schedule full of classes set up through December and don't forget you can always take a page out of Jean's book and set up a private class for you and YOUR friends and YOU can decide which cards we do! Private class minimum? 4 peeps is all it takes! It's loads of fun with everything ready at your fingertips to make some adorable items. Check out the dates and times of classes or contact me to book your private class.
