I hope you are celebrating the birth of our wonderful nation today!   Myself?   I'm am enjoying a bit of peace today as Rob and kidlets decided, at the last minute yesterday, to head to a friends cabin for a couple of days and will meet me for our family's annual 4th of July party (on the 5th!).  I have to work at the hosital tonight so I will head out for the day tomorrow after work and thankfully, Starbucks will be open!  So what's a girl to do with all the peace and quiet?  Enjoy it!  I've gotten more accomplished in the last 12 hours, including sleep than I've gotten done the entire summer.  PRODUCTIVE…I've cut cardstock for the past couple of month's of Stamps By Mail, I've weeded some in the garden, and hope to plant some flowers later this afternoon.  I've designed ALL my cards for next week's, Buttons and Brads class on Monday and Tuesday.  (Yes, I have room for you) and now are working on the cards for my Hostess Club on Thursday and Friday!  LOTS TO DO YET!

Here's one of the cards that I've whipped up in the quiet of my studio here.  We will be using it on Monday and Tuesday and I think I will probably use it for a swap card when we go to our Stampin' Up! convention in a couple of weeks.  What do you think?  Yes, I know that birds usually aren't pink but tough, it's my party and I can have a pink bird if I want to!  🙂
