Ouch, ouch, ouch….I'm excited to tell you that I've finished the Mukwonago Varsity Soccer Digital Scrapbook in My Digital Studio and like everything I do, I had a hard time saying "enough"! I tweaked and changed and fussed forever. Rob had taken the kids up north and so I had four days to "work" and I finally needed to force myself to step AWAY from the book. My hands had cramped themselves into a claw that gripped the computer's mouse and I'm still feeling a little bit of tingly there in my wrist. It could be the fact that I've been doing a bit of planting and weeding in the garden too?
I had class yesterday and today and I thought the cards were pretty cute. Here's a quick one that I used a retired accessory. Obviously I haven't had time to devour my new catalog as much as I would have liked because I had NO idea that the pinwheel sizzlet was discontinued. Just as I get adapt at making the pinwheels, they take it away…seriously! I'm heading over to make a suggestion in the Stampin' Up! suggestion box. Why, you ask, haven't I had time to browse at my leisure? It's because I've been busily devouring my new in-colors! I've whistled through 4 packs of paper this past month. Yummy colors!
As you can see, the walls of my studio are sorta Pistachio too.
- Stamps: Really Good Greetings (pg 38)
- Inks: Pistachio Pudding, Smoky Slate
- CS: Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Smoky Slate, This and That DSP, In-Color DSP Pad
- Misc: Pinwheel Sizzlet, Mini Brads, Cloudy Day Folder, Square Lattice Folder.
That's it for today. I need to run and take a nap. Got called into work and I think I'm fighting a little sore throat so should "rest".
Now to finish up the SC Waukesha U-14 Book…think I could talk Rob into taking the kids up north again?
I am sure he would do so–just ask nicely!
Hey Sarah, thanks for stopping by my my post http://www.alexharalson.com/2013/06/pallet-wood-american-flag.html
You asked if I used acrylic paint, but when I went to reply there was no return email so here I am to answer your question.
I used craft paint on the white and blue and latex for the red just because that is what I had on hand. I intend on putting a sealant on it for outdoor use. Hope that helps, if you think of it let me know how the auction goes! 😀
