I am absolutely loving our Layouts Classes that we hold here on a monthly basis. I love the fact that I'm helping others get pages finished while scrapping MY own books. Love this idea. 5 Layouts each month for 4 months (I hold them continuously through the year, so start your four month enrollment ANYTIME and you too, can catch up on your piles of pictures!) I try to hold the Layouts classes on the 3rd Thursday of each month (no scrapbook class in july, I'm in Salt Lake City at our stamping convention!)
I'm struggling a little this month to convert over to "summer hours". I'm not very good at balancing the house, the garden, the kid's demands and my stamping business. So please bear with me while I figure it out! I should have it under control about August 20th just in time for the "return" back to school. So I can understand why my scrappers call the studio, "their happy place". Stamping and scrapping does help reduce the stress and anxiety of the daily grind and make us leave here…happy. The girls in the layouts classes LOVED this layout. I found the sketch on Pinterest and I decided that I will probably use this to document Adria's Style. I think I will snap some pictures on the sly of her favorite looks. I think it will be fun to look back in 25 years and see what was popular. I laugh everytime I see photos of my gigantic glasses from 25 years ago with the little monogram sticker in the lower right corner or think about the fact that we used to wear 3 different Izod shirts with the collars turned up, gunny sac dresses and bandanas in our hair, so yeah, I think it will be fun to document the style she's wearing and maybe her children can laugh at her as hard as mine laugh at my old photos!
