Home Again…

Well it's back to reality here in the studio and while I love my reality…we did have a wonderful couple of days, 'up nort'.  My brother and family left Rockport TX last week and had arranged to spend some time here in Wisconsin with my parents and then a couple of days with all of us up in Minoqua at a friend's cabin.  Gorgeous place but I digress!  Their family relocated to TX two years ago and we've sort of made a summer tradition of meeting for a week or so, each summer.  Last year was Branson, this year, Minoqua, next year….who knows…

It's so nice to spend some serious bonding time with cousins and the kids and adults, alike, had a blast.  While all you poor folks where getting deluged and feeling a bit mildewy…we were getting sunburnt and having smore's by the campfire.  It was a really nice chance to get away…and now to face my office and garden.  eeks, it's almost enough to make me run back north.  Almost…there was a small matter of large mosquitoes to tend with.

So really, I don't have any adorable samples to share.  We've been gone and I'm still trying to figure out my summer schedule.  I usually spending an hour or so stamping in the morning after the kids leave for school and now with them home….they do sleep in but if I stamp in the early hours, it's too hot to hit the garden after stamping so I'm still trying to figure a few things out.
