I wanted to give you a humorous list of things I was sorry for…(the weedy garden, the barrage of rain, the lack of newsletter and posts etc) but that would have just sounded like WHINING! I really have lots to be thankful for…like yesterday when the thunder and lightening was entertaining Ella and I at breakfast and all I could think of was, not only was I going to the zoo today with kindergarteners, I was going with them in a monsoon! So the fact that the rain held off THE entire time we were at the zoo, gives me MUCH to be thankful for today. I even had only three girls in my group and one of their mom's joined us. Easy peasy, and really, it was pretty fun. I did decide again that my childhood dream to become a teacher was WAY off the mark and I can say with a fair amount of confidence that I won't be homeschooling any time soon.
But I am sorry that one of my Favorite sets…Elements of Style will be retiring in just a few short days. This is such a versatile set!
This is a card that we did this past month in one of my classes and since I had a few packets left over, I used the Cherry Cobbler in lieu of White embossing powder and I like both…completely different look for each.
- Stamps: So Sorry, Elements of Style
- Inks:Versamark, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Regal Rose
- CS: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
- Misc: Rose Red & Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Vintage Wallpaper Folder (RETIRING!), Apothecary Accents Framelits, Cherry Cobbler or White Embossing Powder
So…that's it for today. I've got uniforms to wash (several games this week) and chickens to feed, and weeds to pull but it's too wet, right? So probably will attempt to work on a newsletter for you all! eeks. Best get moving.
