April Showers bring May Flowers and June Mosquitoes…. I need to keep reminding myself of the cons of summer so that I'm not longing for warmer sunnier days. Mosquitoes, sweaty soccer clothes, weeds, sun burns, hhhm, I can't think of any other bad things about spring and summer so let's GET to it.
I've been stamping some red, white and blue cards for the Scrapbook Expo. We hope to have a Masculine Card display and make sure that you stop by and say "hi". So here's a card that I did with the By The Tide Stamp set, which just so happens to be one of my favorite in that spring catalog! It's a Father's Day card and brings to mind fresh mown grass, lemonade, ice cream, swimming pools suntan, lotion, swimsuits (oh, wait, that's on the not-so-good things of summer list!) but I digress. I've got to stop torturing myself!
This was actually also one of the cards that my stampers did at my Fabulous Folders class on April 8th & 9th. Too cute, hey? Simple and clean card but using the double embossing folder technique. Do you sense a tutorial in the works?
