If you had any doubts as to why you stamp a card and mail it out…it's because you love making a person's day. I'm reminded everytime there's a little paper hug tucked in amongst the nasty bills and junk mail. Let me tell you, my day was MADE yesterday! (Send out those cards, stampers!) It was a banner mail day as I didn't get just one card, but two! I received a GORGEOUS card from my great, great, great, great Stampin' Grandma, Jill Olsen. Apparently I was in her Top 30 demos in Sales for the month of December and so she sent this thank you card. I LOVE it so much that we are going to use it for my Hostess Club today and tomorrow.
I was tempted to push the Sympathy card off till March as it's a women's prerogative to change her mind BUT, I'll keep the chocolate favor for March and change it to be St. Pat's or Easter. I think it will be cute. And not only did I get this card but I got another GORGEOUS sample from my friend Barb Z. that I will also be using at class on Monday and Tuesday. I'll save that one for tomorrow and show you the variations. Again, too cute.
