Did I happen to mention that I LOVE scrapbooking and I love scrapbook LAYOUTS even more? I'm very excited about this new style of Scrapbooking class that I've been running lately. Tonight, I'm hosting my Scrapbook Layouts Class tonight at the studio and I've got several scrappers that drop in and make 5 layouts a month. We meet for 4 months and will have 20 pages done at the end of the Layout Class session. I have the doors open from 4pm to 9pm and the scrappers come when they can and work on the layouts.
Some of you have asked me for more details and let me try to explain it for you…I sit down and create 5 pages for you on a variety of occasions, holidays, masculine, feminine and in a variety of colors. (Note: we do have SOME flexibility at class too as I have a WIDE array of stamps so some substitution is ok.)
I cut the necessary cardstock and then package each page in a 12×12 Zip-loc baggie. You come and stamp and assemble the page to some degree and then put everything back in the baggie and add your photos later. The idea is that you have the bones of the pages to take with you and then you can add their photos at a later date. These layouts work great when heading to a crop etc. All the creativity is done ahead of time and all that is needed is adhesive and a trimmer to finish off the pages.
Here's one of the pages for today's layouts class. AND YES, we have room for you in this next session that is starting! It's just $25/class and you will receive 5 pages per class and we do 4 classes per session. Hence the 20 pages!
