Suppose I better spiff up the office before club tonight. I've had a teen and a kindergartener crafting in here the entire Christmas Vacation so we have a tad of a mess. Adria decided that her room needed String Art. Do you remember those from the 70's & 80's, good news, they are back, so if you never finished that gold metallic ship on velvet, string art from years ago…well, now's the time. So here's what my class table looks like today. You know, my Adria is quite book smart. She's a 4.0 with several honors classes. Perhaps, the common sense may not be as strong….Honey, maybe you should cut the board BEFORE you paint and do the string art? Might be easier to hang that way…..
Why yes, that IS a 12 foot board with the said project, smack dab in the center and yes, that is a snowmobile helmet. Every stamper needs one, right? And if you look carefully you will see the router box. Rob routered and painted my table legs during the break! Yeah, shh, don't tell him that I should have had him use Semi-Gloss and I might have liked the raw wood color better? So yes my work is cut out for this afternoon.
