What's the very oddest thing you've ever used your Big Shot for? Yup, we have proven that the Big Shot is beefy enough for Duct Tape! Homecoming is this week at Mukwonago High School and obviously it's Spirit Week. Yesterday was Duct Tape Day aka Duck Tape, and so Adria googled Duct Tape Dresses and we went to work. It only took us about 30 minutes to wrap her up and we felt the dress was cool but a little dull. Inspiration struck and we pulled out a couple of dies for our Big Shot and went to town. We used these two dies

and found that the trick was to lay 2-3 strips of Duct Tape, sticky side up, on the table and then lay two more strips on top of them and then run it through the Big Shot, as normal cardstock. We then, blinged out the butterflies and flowers with the Rhinestones.
We attached them to the dress with, obviously, Duct Tape rolled up. I got high praise from the normally, compliment to the mother, stingy teen, "Mom, you are so nifty!" Ok, my day was made! Oh the things we do for our children.
Here's the outfit in all it's glory.
Apparently she was the Duct Tape version of the Rainbow Fish. Several of her butterflies and flowers were given to envious friends. She gave them away and rearranged the remaining flowers and butterflies.
So what's the Big Shot project you are currently working on?
way too cute, you are just SO clever!!!
Oh boy. You are too clever! I bet she was the queen of duct tape day! Now she has a dress for homecoming…heheheh.
