So today we are on #11 & #10, right?  I'm still in the Punch Art mode as I had the third class of Punch Art last night.  Studio was oversold, and jammed packed!  I limit class to 8 students but somehow ended up with 10!  Eeks…but the girls were SO friendly and shared WAY better than most students.  Putzy but so fun and cute.  They've asked for more Punch art classes so I'll need to sit down and figure out when we can put these on the calendar!

So #10 & 11 are punch art samples.  Drum roll please!

#11 – Wellness Wishes.Wellness Wishes

Ok, I'm cheating here and only using the saying but I'll have to say that I've used this set TONS.  This is one of your extra FREE Sale-a-bration choices.  We've used the Owl Punch to make a little Punch Art Boxer.  My awesome office assistant and I worked on this at Scrap Club one night and isn't he just to die for?  Punch Art - boxer

  • Stamps:  Wellness Wishes, Sanded Background
  • CS:  Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Hostess In-color DSP
  • Inks:  Peach Parfait, Stazon
  • Misc:  Rhinestone Jewels, Owl Punch, Heart to Heart Punch (jowels), 3/4" Circle (mouth)

Hint:  I usually whistle through an entire pack of those Rhinestone Jewels and am left with the long strings of Rhinestones….Here's my brilliant idea!  :)  I've taken a string of them and seperated them.  Then, used them on the ends of the card.  I cut the "heard you were" sick layer large enough to cover the gap.  This works great if you are short on stickers stripes, ribbon etc.  Hide the gap under a layer or photo.  🙂

#10 – On the Green

So, last week we, here in Wisconsin, had dreams of golf.  Today, it's back to the hats, scarves and mittens.  sniff, sniff.  This is really a fun SAB choice as well.  Masculine stamps are a little more difficult to come up with.  Here's a good one! PUnch Art - Golf

  • Stamps:  On the Green
  • Inks:  Night of Navy, Garden Green
  • CS:  Night of Navy, Garden Green
  • Misc:  1 3/8" Circle punch, Embossing Folders

It's a little difficult to see (I swear, I'll take a photography class one of these days! – Babysteps, people).  I've take the circles and sent them through the Polka Dot Embossing Folder, then adhered them upside down to create the dimples.  Fun Birthday card for that golfer in your life.
