I'm so sorry that I've left you sampleless for a couple of days. Adria and I left early Friday for St. Louis for a soccer tournament and I had big plans for you. I brought my laptop, camera adapter and card samples and I was going to spend the car ride, sharing stunning cards etc with ya'll. I thought I'd have downtime at the motel too but interestingly enough, I spent the 6 hr ride to and from, talking with the driver. I know, me, chatty, can you just imagine??!? I know, I'm sure it won't happen again.
So here we are on Tuesday and you are asking, "where was my Monday sample"…uumm, I had the second Christmas Card class and I needed to cut cardstock yesterday morning…hahah, just in time and I spent the afternoon cleaning out more flower beds. This warm weather has been such a GIFT. I'm going to try to clean out one more today and plant my garlic that should have gone in the ground in SEPTEMBER! I will have to confess that I'm pretty sure that I've NEVER cleaned out flowerbeds before winter! Feels good.
I wanted to share one of yesterday's quick samples with you. I hope to have a couple of "kits" figured out by the weekend for those of you that are interested. I brought that info all the way to St. Louis too, but alas, the driver was so talkative! :) And I'll share a couple of the samples for the upcoming Open Stamp Day and remind you of how that works tomorrow so that I'll tempt you into attending! 🙂
TIDBITS & Triffles – just a few notes
- I used the new Jolly Old St. Nick
stamp set from the Holiday mini. I LOVE the vintage feel of this set. Sort of 1950’s goodwill and happiness.
- Lots of Bigshotting on this card. I’ve had customers ask me if I thought the Big Shot was worth the money and if they’d actually use the machine. ABSOLUTELY! It’s easy to use and addictive. And the best part…..you don’t have to rummage around for an outlet to plug it in! I used the Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Snowflakes Bigz and the Tasteful Trim dies. In fact, I kind of joke that I’m pretty sure I can’t stamp a card without the Big Shot. Do you Double Dog Dare me to try?
