Oh boys oh boys.  I'm having a spot of trouble getting myself motivated this morning.  Might have something to do with the whirlwind weekend we've had.  Kicked it off on Thursday with a trip to the State Fair and then hosted my Relay for Life Fundraiser, Stamping for a Cure, Thursday night.  This is the second year that my family, friends and stamping friends have walked in the RFL on my Stamping for a Cure team.  I hosted a fundraiser on Thursday at our newest ice cream shop and grill here in Genesee Depot.  It's called Pals and it's adorable with yummy food and ice cream.  MMmmm.  Gotta try it.  But enough about the food, this is a stamping blog!  Stampers made a donation of any amount to the American Cancer Society and I had 4 Make and Takes set up for them.  We raised $361.00 for Relay for Life.

This is one of the cards that we stamped on Thursday night.  We used the Studio Sketches and Sense of Time sets with this card.  Of course, one of my favorite colors, Cherry Cobbler and the Newsprint Designer Series Paper.  Makes for a yummy yummy card!  If you missed all the fun and would still like to donate to a fabulous cause, you can simply click here to donate to our team.  I will send you a handstamped card in return!

Then Friday, we set up camp at the Waukesha West Track and had walkers on the track ALL night long.  My family, friends and stampers all walked in shifts.  Dad had his world famous onion rings for sale along with fried zucchini.  My friend, Roxanne Big Shotted some flower pins and I had cards for sale there too and all proceeds went to the RFL.  Kids stayed up pretty late and had a nice time sitting by the campfire.  Rob's family stopped by and walked for a couple of hours and we even took turns napping and walking. Had a nice big ol' blister on my toe in the morning but it was worth it.  Relay for Life is a remarkable way to raise funds for an awesome charity.  We'll do it again next year and would love to see you take a lap with us!

A big hug to all those that participated in all the various events and that have donated online.  Great charity to help!

We did forget to bring the baton so we had to improvise with a zucchini.  It was call the Zooton.
