How can it be Friday already? This summer is simply scampering away! I haven't done a Fugue in a while and in case you've forgotten how this works. It's a card and then a couple of variations on the sketch. Here was the Original card. It was one that we stamped for the Relay for Life Fundraiser.
(ok, how time flies, I was called away and never got back to the computer. It's now Saturday…so your Fugue Friday is now Sketch Saturday!)
- Stamps: Birthday Bliss
- Inks: Early Espresso, Peach Parfait
- CS: Early Espresso, Blushing Bride, Real Red
Here's your first variation. I wanted to remind you that the Summer Mini will be done shortly and if there was ANYTHING from the mini that you needed, get it now. Simply call, email or order directly online.
I used the Sweet Scoops stamp set. This has been a really fun stamp set to work with this summer. I loved changing my ice cream from Orange Sherbet (shown here) to Mint Chip to my all time favorite, Blue Moon. Blue Moon ice cream and KFC mashed potatoes were the only two things I ever craved when I was pregnant. Ok, let's be fair. I still craved them and they are probably two of my favorite foods, it's just that I won't take desperate measures to get them. For instance, I WON"T drive to town at 2AM for either, 11 PM definitely, just not 2AM!
So again, get Sweet Scoops today before they've melted in the Summer Heat and are GONE!
I've used the set, Halloween is a Hoot and some of our Wicked Fun DSP. This is a sample for September's Designer Series Paper Kit of the Month. I'll have more info for you on Sept 1st. You've got a sneak peak here too of the Spider Web Embossing Folder from the upcoming Holiday Mini. Let me know if you haven't gotten yours as I know they've landed in most of the mailboxes this past week. My mom got hers so I would think you should have YOURS!
Here's another Sneak Peak at the New mini coming up I've used the Bells and Boughs stamp set and the new Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper. Yummy. This is a FUN set! I have nothing to link it to yet as the catalog isn't even live yet! I know…too cool to get a peak.
So there's your Friday into Saturday Fugue. I hope this last weekend of summer is good to you. We got a couple of soccer games and I hope to get some more raspberries picked. I also need to make a roadside sign for our honey. I've got scads of it (busy little bees) and I had hoped to get into the Waukesha Farmer's Market but they are full. :( So back to square one. Hugs to you and happy end of summering!
