Nineteen years ago today…..two naive love-struck, know-it all, youngsters were married. (Ok, maybe not so "young" but in relative terms…) It's been a blessed ride and I'd certainly say yes all over again! Happy Anniversary to my Dearest!
I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't taken the time to stamp a gorgeous card for him so I dug through my stash and pulled out a beautiful card that was swapped with me last week at our group's Conventional. (Mini Convention in IL for demos) I don't have the creator's name, so here's to ANONYMOUS! We aren't going to get a chance for a candlelight dinner together, as we promised the kids that we'd have a bonfire and volleyball game this summer and tonight seemed like a good night to have one before Rob's sister's family leaves to go home to Montana tomorrow. But then again candlelit dinners may have become a thing of the past around 13 years ago when Adria arrived on the scene!
Usually my dad calls Rob and reminds him that today is our anniversary but he remembered it himself or my dad called early. I did tell him a couple of days ago that we should just get a tree instead of gifts on our anniversary so that may have reminded him too. He really is one of the "good" ones, in spite of his foibles!
So here's to the city of love. He's a good man and I'm blessed to have him. Exasperated at times but still extremely blessed! 🙂
