Ella LOVES monkeys and can you believe I brought her to the Milwaukee County Zoo for the FIRST time this past week.  I know, neglected child!  We've had a pretty busy weekend as it was my weekend to work at the hospital and Rob and big kids weren't back from Canada fishing yet so Mom, Dad and Grandma came a babysat the little scamp for me.  Dad, bless him, worked all day around the yard, Mom entertained Ella so I could sleep and Grandma folded heaps of laundry.  Can I keep them????  My folks are really the best!

Can you bear just one more Island Oasis DSP sample?  I've really enjoyed working with this paper and I think you will LOVE the kits.

& Triffles – just a few notes

  • Monkey parts – I used Kraft (Crumb Cake) and Close to
    Cocoa (retiring)
  • Close to Cocoa:
    Head (1 ¼” Circle Punch)
    • Hands:  Trio
Flower-retiring- I cut off two petals
    • Ears: (½ Circle punch with a ¼” punch in the center
of it.) Punch your small punch first and then cut out the ½” around it.
  • Kraft:  Mug –
    Small Oval
    • Ears:  ½”
Circle in Kraft – Layer under the Close to Cocoa ear and the kraft will
      show through the hole.
    • Eyes:  ¼” inch
circle punch, iris is just a black marker.  ran cardstock through the Square Lattice
Folder prior to punching with the 1 ¼” Circle punch to get the fun look
      on the middle circle.
