How about another quick peek at a sample from the Island Oasis DSP kit. The reason I've created the kits is that I have friends and family that cannot attend class in person. They'd love to be here but the distance is just too great, so I decided to bring the class to them. So when my SIL in MA wanted a few scrapbook layout/kits, I decided to combine the two. Really the kits will go either way, scrapbook or cardmaking. For the most part, you will have enough CS to probably do both. I wanted it to be a kit where you can grab a few supplies and head off to a crop or the cabin and you've got something set and ready to go.
I love creating these as I'm guaranteed to complete 2 pages every month when I make up these things and you already know that I have a paper fetish…so it's a natural fit. I fired up the computer and checked out my downloaded version of the Scrapbookers Shortcut for a quick layout design. I LOVE sketches and layout designs for a quick and easy page. Using a sketch, Jen had included in her book, I've whipped up these pages for the kit.
These two pages are the sketches for the kit. All cut sizes, embellishments, cardstocks and instructions are provided in the kit. These are photos from our Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip to Hawaii last year. One evening, SU coordinated a luau for the group and in typical SU fashion, it was fabulous. Entertainment, outdoor buffet line, Hawaiian culture demonstrations and so much more. It's showing the ceremonial lighting of the tiki torches. So beautiful. We've been blessed with quite a few of these free "cruises" for two and I value each and everyone. Many memories have been created, although I'm a bit behind in the scrapbooking of them.
We are SO close to earning our trip for this current year. It's a cruise for two on Celebrity Cruise lines to Alaska. I'm less than a $1000 in sales needed to be on that boat! If you are needing a few things and want to take pity on my poor husband and send him, ok us, to Alaska, the land of all that he holds dear…..deer, bear, fish etc. A place where his blue jeans and flannel shirts will actually be in style, then by all means contact me to place your order or visit my website. :) Don't forget to check out that clearance rack. Hugs!
