Ah, tis the season….for Grads and Dads. We have a co-party for three grads to attend this weekend, along with yet another soccer game, so I really need to stamp a couple of Graduation Cards today. (I almost said joint party but re-reading that sentence made me laugh with the images so I believe "co-party" is probably more appropriate for the G-rating Family Friendly rating of this blog.)
I ordered this set from the current mini
as I was seriously lacking a good graduation set. I have been pleasantly surprised at how much I like this set! It's not fussy, not too cutesy, but just plain' ol fun. You may have a tendency to overlook it on pg 24 in the mini but truely it's worth a second look.
Here's a quick card done with the set and I think I will use this layout and recreate three more cards using the grads' school colors. On another day, I may be tempted to create three different cards for the grads but I've got several flats of tomatoes, peppers and eggplants to plant along with lots of strawberry weeding to do so if I can save a few minutes with the duplication process, I'm doing it today. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

- I ran cardstock through the Square Lattice Folder
prior to punching with the 1 ¼” Circle punch to get the fun look on the
- Card was missing some oommf so I used the Round Tab
Punch to give it a little visual interest.
- DSP is from the Build A Bear collection – Pawsitively
