Whew, I've went over the hill and then some since my last post.  Perhaps a few of you had wondered if I've fallen off that said hill, but nope still here.  May is always our craziest month.  Sheer and utter insanity.  We've been in Appleton to a soccer tournament with Denver's team.  They won.  We've been to Kentucky to a soccer tournament with Adria's soccer team.  They won too!  We've had baseball games with Denver, they haven't won many!  And several LONG track meets.  Garden is slowly getting in, although the weeds are growing like insanity!  I had a booth at the Rubberstamp and Scrapbook Expo this past weekend so scads of prep work but stamping work is ALWAYS fun.  And had one of those momentous milestone birthdays this month.  Like I said, crazy busy.

So I would think I'm entitled to a mini mid-life crisis.  If I had the funds it would be a Black Jeep Wrangler.  I LOVE those things.  They look so hot….ok, ok your hair does get messy and carseats ruin the look but I said hot, not practical.  A cycle would be an option as they are a major pulse rush too but I really am not so graceful or coordinated (remember the soccer incident?) and I'm thinking they go faster and hurt more.  SO you'll have to settle for a fab Motorcycle sample from the expo.  This is one of the cards that we did for a Make and Take at the event and being in the here in Milwaukee, the home of the Harley, this card and stamp rocked!

& Triffles – just a few notes

  • This Motorcycle stamp #117657 is available on pg. 31
of our Summer Mini Catalog.   Cardstock:  Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, White;  Misc:  1" Circle Punch, Designer Tag Punch, Square Lattice Embossing Folder
  •  I used
a Blender Pen and the new/old Baja Breeze pad to color my cycle.  SO happy that Baja is returning.    To acheive the look on the background of the NQN cardstock, simply run your pad across the paper in several directions.
  • Order your stamp in time for Father’s Day!
  • This card looks fabulous with the Silver Smooch Spray
too!  Woodgrain Background  Stamp also works well stamped on the Not Quite Navy Cardstock
