Back in the saddle again. We've had a FULL week, with classes on Monday and Tuesday along with company, so I've neglected to share some lovely samples with you, of late. I want to share a real quick Easter card with you using a set that is as old as the hills. One of the demos in my group, Jenny Schick of Hartland, sent the most gorgeous Christmas card using Night of Navy. Everyone that stopped by the office picked it up and oohed and aahed so I thought I'd use her card for inspiration and change it up for spring. This was one of the cards that we did for the Techniques, Tools and Folds class on Monday and Tuesday.

I used an oval cutter to cut out the center of a piece of
paper. I then used it to “mask” my white cardstock and stamped the trees in
Encore Gold ink in the opening, I then, sponged the perimeter in Regal Rose and
Pumpkin Pie inks and added Shimmer Paint to the oval opening as well
·
I inked the lone tree with Gold Encore and then added more
Shimmer Paint directly to the stamp.
·
This makes a lovely Sympathy Card as well.
