I figure out a list of items for the "3 month class" and then design 9 different cards using those items. I cut enough cardstock so that the participants can create doubles of each card. Then I mail the list of Stampin' Up! supplies and the cardstock over the course of the next three months (January-March) along with very detailed instructions. So you get to keep a boatload of Stampin' Up! product along with the pleasure of making 18 handstamped cards using just those products. Very cool hey?
