Procrastinators Unite! I need to start a Procrastination Club someday and if you want to join my club, you can email me tomorrow. I should probably be the president of the club. I did have Ella's teacher's gift stamped early but not wrapped and the card's for Denver's teacher, I didn't even have designed! So 6am yesterday morning, I'm out here in the Stamp Cottage, stamping up a storm. For some reason, cards that are designed under pressure are usually some of my favorites, sort of like diamonds. Aren't they made under pressure too?
So there I was…in a blind panic. So I need a template, some sort of a spring board to get the creative flow going or more importantly done before 7:45am. A ha, there on the mess of a desk, is a tri-fold card done with the Cold And Cuddly stamp set from my Christmas Buffet Class. Hmm..will it work? I usually try to stamp Thank You cards for the teachers instead of a set of Christmas Cards because for one, I'm sure they've sent their cards out by December 1st and cannot be included in my Procrastinators Club. Thank you cards can be used for gifts they've received from students, friends and family.
So I picked a new color palette, Bermuda Bay, Basic Black and Real Red and subbed the Christmas Cocoa paper for the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder and voila, here's my diamond for today! I love it so much that it's going to be one of the samples for my Techniques, Tools and Folds class on December 28th. Hope to see you here. Sign up today.

TIDBITS AND
TRIFFLES
- I stamped the polar bear on a Post-It Note and used it as a mask,
meaning I stamped the bear on the white paper with the Bermuda ink, layed the
mask over the bear and then stamped the hat, mug and ice chunk. When you remove the post-it, it looks as if the
bear is sitting on the iceburg and in the foreground. - I used the Polka Dot ribbon, simply knotted in the center with the ends
taped behind the white layer. - I would have loved to add some Dazzling Diamonds glitter but alas the
bus was coming. - Base Layer is 4 ¼” x 8 ½”, scored and the flap folds up at 5 ½”,
(Petals layer measures 4” x 2 ¾”) Top
flap is 8 ½” x 2 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”.
The back layer is glued to the inside of the card and the front flap
folds over the petals flap.
