It's been a beehive of activity around here. Between managing laundry for three kids, prepping for classes and garden/yard work, it's just sheer insanity. Aaarrgh. Today I'm hoping to work on more Stamps By Mail projects and I'll share some of them later this week. Hold me accountable, would you?
I'm going to share a quick card that I did for my Big Shot class yesterday. I adore it so much and found it easy enough that I'm going to use it for convention swaps. Of course, in my world…fairly easy means anything that can be assembled on the plane enroute to our convention. I usually don't have my swaps done, and I either do them at the airport or con my roomies into helping me. (yes, I pay them in chocolate desserts!) So here's what you missed by not coming to class yesterday.
- Stamps: Friends 24-7
- Inks: Orchid Opulance, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
- CS: Orchid Opulance, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
- Misc: Texture Plates, Scallop Edge Punch, Razzleberry Polka Dot,Bitty Box Bigz Die
Of course, my swaps for convention aren't done BUT I do have my projects ready for next week's Techniques Tools and Folds class. Remember, this class is always the 4th Monday of the month, am and pm sessions but due to a scheduling conflict, I've moved the am session to Monday, July 20th and the evening class to Tuesday, July 28th. Hope you can come. AM class is FULL but I have plenty of room in the evening class.
- Stamps: Animal Stories, Sanded Background
- Inks: Versamark, Soft Suede
- CS: Soft Suede, Dusty Durango
- Misc: Jumbo Eyelets, Word Window Punch, Clear Embossing Powder, Circle Punch
Well that's all for today. I'm off to spend a little quality time with my stamps before rousing the kids for a scrambled egg breakfast. 🙂
