I've had only a half cup of coffee this morning and I"m struggling to keep my eyes open, let alone be funny! So don't expect gut splitting hilarious today, sarcastic, possibly. Crabby, most definitely! I know, it's beautiful out and I think that's what's bothering me. How can Mother Nature wake up so perky, wholesome and downright stunning. I roll out and I'm downright scary. Ok, I heard that….not much changes after several cups of coffee! :)
Ok, here's the real problem. I got used to the pampering over the weekend. It was my birthday on Friday and I was made to feel so special. Mom and Dad came down and Dad spent the day as my Personal Handyman and tackled quite a few things on my Honey-dew list. Mom helped in the garden and flowerbeds and laundry mountains. Kids actually stamped cards and sort of cleaned up the mess. Rob brought me a bouquet of irises and my on Friday and Saturday brought lots of treats, flowers and a cake. So now it's back to normal and another 362 days before it happens again. Rob will try to tell you it's always about me but really don't believe him. He exaggerates a tad, he is a fisherman, you know. Really it was a lovely weekend. The fact is that my birthday falls during prime bluegill fishing and I've had to blow out candles sitting on a cooler by the lake more than once. Being a pretty fair weather fisherman this can be a bit risky as it's spring in Wisconsin….brrr chilly birthday. We've often not had to worry about the ice cream melting. So I, for one, was glad for the change that this slow spring has made. Bluegills aren't even biting yet! Ha, it's my sister-in-laws birthday in a couple of weeks and maybe she'll be the one that gets the Coleman Cooler throne and birthday cake by the Seashore.
Speaking of Seashores, how about a Walk in the Park. I know, it's the DSP for May's Designer Series Paper (DSP) class. I'm having the class Tuesday, May 19th @ 9:30am and 6:30pm. I'd love to see you here. Remember, you can get a kit to-go.
